Holy Scripture is God’s Word of authority to us.

We understand the importance of Holy Scripture and being a people who follow Christ, we read Scripture and always ask the question; “What Would Jesus Do?”

In practical application, each believer is challenged to practice forbearance with other believers, while open and challenged by the Holy Spirit to grow in faith, much as an athlete develops skills and health.

GCPC emphasis that family and community are what make a healthy person, following Biblical teachings that affirm God wired humanity to be in a relationship.  Our practice of faith uses a relational model that reflects Jesus’s examples of building on healthy relationships with, God, Self and Others.

In simpler terms, GCPC uses a loving and challenging relational model to build a Church that is; “The Perfect Church for those who are not”.

Brenson "Bren" Bishop is a dedicated and accomplished individual whose life has been marked by a commitment to service, faith, and family. For the past 43 years, he has been happily married to Mary Reehm Bishop RPh (ret), and together they have raised three children of their own and welcomed three more through marriage, creating a close-knit family with six cherished grandchildren.
